Scammers can spoof a trusted organization’s phone number, use a number registered to someone else, or call through disposable and internet-based services. A legitimate business can also use VoIP or a call center. That is why Aya shows reasons and limitations instead of making absolute accusations.
If a caller claims to represent a bank, government agency, delivery service, employer, or family member, end the interaction and contact that organization or person through a number you obtained independently.

No. Aya can report available identity, carrier, line-type, and risk evidence, but caller ID can be spoofed and numbers can be shared or reassigned.
What happens when no owner is found?
Aya labels the result unknown. A missing database match is never treated as evidence that a caller is safe.
Does Aya open links from suspicious text messages?
No. Aya analyzes visible URL structure and configured reputation data without visiting the destination or following redirects.
Is there a free or unlimited plan?
No. Every pack and subscription grants a fixed number of credits, and every server-side lookup or analysis has a finite cost.
Can Aya be used for tenant, employment, credit, or insurance decisions?
No. Aya is not a consumer reporting agency and prohibits eligibility-screening uses.
